Buddhism teaches us to contemplate the notion of death daily, so we may come to terms with mortality and loss. In doing so, we'll learn to appreciate more in life.
In this piece of work, the skull was sculpted to overlook a bunch of keys; keys that provide access to things that we want to keep safe, to create a subtle juxtaposition of the notion of death/dearth and things that we value in our lives.
Crafted in Sterling silver, designed and modeled by Somphong Sueudom for Faith Collaboration.
