Oil spills in the oceans are far removed from our daily lives to be an issue, but for the Magellanic penguins, it often means death. Having to swim further out in search of food that has been rapidly diminished by climate changes, the penguins inevitable get engulfed in millions of liters of oil covering a massive surface area. The effects can be countered to certain extent, although the problem can be greatly ameliorated by upholding accountability and accept that climate change is as real as it gets.
